As in all the garments in this collection, the reason for calling this dress"Mwitanzige" lies in the importance of roots and identity in each one of us. It defines the margins to be able to find the middle point of balance between good and evil, black and white, Yin and Yang.
"Mwitanzige" (locusts killer) is the real ugandan (Banyoro and Batooro) name of the now called Lake Albert. This was because of the ancient belief that locusts (called "enzige") perished in the lake as they tried to cross it.
With this garment we want to vindicate it.
